Default Dashboard Lights Out

Hello all,

I need help, I went to start my car yesterday and it wouldn't start. I had to get a jump and when my car started up none of my dashboard lights came on. My dashboard is black and so is my temperature control panel. My stereo is working fine. Has this ever happened to anyone? Would this just be a fuse?

Unplug the negative terminal on the battery for 5 minutes and then put it back and try it again.

Okay, so I did this and the lights came back on. Then the next morning the car wouldnt start again. Jumped started the car and ran fine with everything working. Then this afternoon it wouldn't start again. Jumped it once more and now my lights are off again. The battery is new. Could this be my alternator?

Sounds like it....you can go to AutoZone and they can test your alternator for you.
