Please help with steering issue.
Hi,
I have a 98 GS300 with about 140,000 miles. The issue i have is when turning, the steering wheel feels like it wants to almost go back to center. While in a corner it kinda jerks when not holding the steering angle. It does this when taking turns to the left and right.
Im affraid it might be the steering rack but maybe some else had this issue and knows a DIY fix.
I have done the forum search but could not find the issue being previously talked about.
Thank you for your help.

I'm currently dealing with a similar issue however my car started to do it after I replaced the lower ball joints. I'm getting an aligment done to see if I can get rid of the problem. I had a Lexus tech look at my car, he said that possibly the camber is way off and it will cause the steering to go all over the place.
