Default Creaking noise from snow when cold?

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what it could be, im in NYC and theres alot of snow on the ground we just had 3 consecutive storms so theres about 2 feet or snow on the ground, i noticed when I leave my car sitting for a while in the cold or snow and I start driving it I hear a loud creaking sounds like its coming from the driver wheel area and after about 10-20 seconds of driving it goes away. does anyone know what this might be? thanks in advance. btw I have a 99 GS3 w/ 140k

Lol yea it's called you not being used to snow. It's the sound of the snow crunching or whatever beneath your car
