I have a 99 GS 300. The headunit powers up and seems like it should be working fine, but there is no sound. A few times in the past I noticed a crackling sound when the volume was one notch passed the middle when this happened I would turn it down or off and the sound would work fine without any problem.

Please I need some help with this. Could it be a fuse, possible the amp?

I pulled the headunit out and made sure all the connections were secure and they were. Thanks for checking this.

 

I'd go with a 4300k bulb, some like the 5000k as well.

?? Guess someone posted in the wrong thread.

I don't know much about car audio, but maybe the problem lies with the amp and not the head unit. I would check the wiring on the amp.
