Post Sound issues

i have a 2000 ES300 model and today i was playing music and the sound cut off from speakers,so i turned it all the way to max and i could hear low sound from the sub woofer in the back when i got home and waited like 20 minutes and turned on the car voila sound came back on...

My question is is this a fuse problem or whole sound system shot??

Im just guessing, but possibly the amp overheated? Hopefully a one off thing. I'd wait till it happens again before getting worried.

Its not a fuse otherwise it'd still not work.

Honestly, i'd have no idea, just from what you said thats what it sounds like

Im sure with enough time someone knowledgeable will come along and offer some better theories.

Certainly make note if it happens again and try and note as much as you can down as to what you were doing when it happened, where the car was before you got in it, how long you had been driving etc.
