Default 1st gen sub

ive done some searches with no results. what size sub can i go with in the 1st gen? what are my options for free air subs? thats what i want to go with. ive heard good and bad about OZ250-h. the JL101b4 is supposed to be good, but not available anymore.
any help would be great.

thanks
Mike

Arrow hey ther brother...

i had two 15's in my trunk with a thousand wtt amp. Dont ask me the brand cause they were "ghetto productions" if ya can feel me. They bumped hard, until i closed the trunk. Then you couldnt hear a damn thing! Its because the 1st gen gs's trunk is like "the panic room" with Jodie Foster. Its redicously soundproof, and is really pissing me off!!!, i need some damn beat! And i sure aint gonna cut a hole in nothing or have those 15's bouncing around in the back seat!,..,lol,.., -what to do,... what to do....

Pioneer has a nice 10' IMPP free air sub. That's what I'm going with on my SQ system. I'm not sure the exact name of it, but you can take a look at it on their site http://www.pioneer electronics.com or on Ebay.

ok for you first gen. ME BEING THE KING I KNOW SOME LITTLE TRICKS TO GET THE BASS LOUDER. first off remove your stock subs and put in 2 12's in a box. here is where the fun is

*DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY.* i did it on my car cuz i'm gangsta like dat. LOL

remove your rear seats. if you don't know how your not really a car enthusiastic and you shouldn't be on this site. there is 8 screws behind your rear seats if you remove them it removes a big metal plate that is about 2 feet by 4 feet and it allows almost all the base into the cabin of the car now. after i did this to my car my bass inscreased from 10% all the way up to about 90%. its the best sound system mod i have ever done.
