Hey guys,

Recently I tried to plug in a radar detector into the cig lighter plug, but no luck. Have anyone ever had this problem with a 98 GS300? I think it may be just the fuse, but I don't really know where to find it. Any suggestions where to look would be appriciated.

Can't help you on the fuse, but try the second plug outlet located in your center console armrest box to see if it might be the detector.

Think there was a recent thread on where this fuse was located?

 

on the kick panel near your foot on the left side. If its not there, theres a fuse relay box under the hood.

haha. the first gen have this problem too. if you find the problem let me and mcnelson know. i got same problem. LOL

 

1-Lexus doesn't want you smoking cause you might just drop that cig and burn a hole in the fine leather. :eek:

2-They also don't want you speeding since your license has been reinstated. :eek:

3-Oh, I almost forgot they don't want you talking on the “phone” cause you may just be distracted, hit a bump and spill your beer. :eek:

So as far as your cig lighter is concerned your out of luck. :eek:
