Default Servo motor

Yes I have searched and found the DIY replacement steps. However, I am not very handy, and I was laid off in August, so I can't afford the repair right now.

So my question is, is there a temporary adjustment I can make so that my feet don't freeze this winter? Apparently the driver's servo is stuck in the cold air position - my AC worked fine all summer. The passenger vent puts out hot air while the driver's vent puts out cold.

Assuming I find work sometime soon I'll get the repair done and life will be good again. Until then, any ideas on how to set the servo to the hot position temporarily?

Thanks - I appreciate your help.

Why not go in there and manually close it?
