Default Headlight problem...

So I've noticed that when other GS owners turn on their headlights, their DRL's stay on. My turns off, why is that?

My cousin has a 03 GS300 SD and it stays on, but when I turn on my headlights, they just turn off. So I only have my 2 outer headlights on with the fogs on if I choose to have them on. Is there a way where I can leave the DRL's on while my headlights are also turned on?
I just think IMO it looks better.

ALL DRLs turn off upon turning on of driving lights, PARKING lights though remain on. your 194s may be Fawked.

DRLs are 50% power of the high beams...they turn off when you turn on your low beams. Parking lights (aka wedge bulbs) and side markers are both 194 size bulbs...they turn on too with the low beams.
