Default 1st gen possibilities?

there might be a thread for these questions already... but,...

has anybody chromed out their grill for the 1st gen gs? if so, what do you think is the easiest way to go? some pics would be awesome too...

would it be possible to convert our lights to be like day-time running lamps? like having the high beams on when we don't have our lights on... and it'd be really cool to have them connected to the automatic sensor for the headlights...

if i missed a thread somewhere.. forgive me

one more thing... 20's or 19's? dubs would be dope... but how would the ride be?

dude.....do 18's or 19's

why do you want your lights on during the day

and yeah you can chrome out the grill two different ways.....one is to buy the chrome strips and add them on or to strip the black paint on the grill.....

I say do 19's....but some 20's will look ok (as will some 18's)...just don't do some huge chrome ugly-*** ghetto-fabulous 20's...that will just kill it.

Like Manaray said...strip off the black. Although a chrome grill is unappealing to me.

Whatever size you put on your car will be fine. 20s (the right 20s) will look fine and its possible to get enough rubber to keep you safe in most situations. I run 19s and the ride is fine. The right 18 would be great as well. Just stay away from the 14" gold-plated, reverse offset wire Daytons!

Question

err please correct me if i'm wrong, but the way I understand it, isn't the 1st gen's grill plastic? i don't think it's like the 2nd gen's where you can just use paint remover to take the black off and it's chrome underneath.

I painted my grill black to match the car and my wheels.
