Unhappy "93 GS300 Engine

I blew the radiator in my '93 GS300 and the engine went too. It has 181,000 on it, I guess I'll start from stratch. Does anyone have any information or contacts on a used engine?

 How did the Engine go too! did you keep driving it until it shut down or is that what a shop told you. If so I wouls get a second opion, also I would call Moe @ SRT and see if he could rebuild you the engine and put the TT setup in it

Yeah, my wife was driving it at the time. When she called me she said the car cut off. It seems to have no compression. The shop told me only one cylinder had compression and that there is a substantial hole in the radiator???????
How do I contact Moe @ SRT?

I appreciate your taking the time to reply. I'll check the web address you gave me. I had the car towed to a local shop and was told that they had found a used engine 54,000 miles and would install it with a new timing belt, water pump, all drive belts and a new radiator for $2,300.00. What does that sound like to you? I don't usually do expensive repairs but I like this car sooo much I really want to keep it around.

with that many miles sounds pretty cheap. but of course YOU will never know how many miles is on that engine. i can hand you a used engine and say it only has 20,000 miles on it. but really it has 200,000 miles on it. GOOD LUCK.

I think as long as he newer engine for $2300 is replaced with new parts like you said, and has been fully tested and i ok, I wouldn't worry about the 200,000 or 20,000 mile thing.
..just make sure it's in good operating condition.
