whats the widest one can go on 19''s or 20"s and not lose turning radius? or is it gone once we leave stock wheels?

Im looking to do a 19x8.5 +20 F and 19x9.5 +20 in the back. 235/35or40 F and 265/35or40 in the rear on my 2GS. I would like to lower my car with no finger gap. What fender modifications would it have to do to make that work. Suggest on tires size would be appreciated. Thx

I have that same wheel specs on my car with 225/35/19 F & 245/35/19 R. Front fenders rolled, inner fender wells heated and tucked in. The rear was a shave. No rubbing the rear. Front has some minor rub, mostly plastic inner fenders. The tires rub the fender when at full lock going down some inclines. Other than that its seems to be fine. Im lowered on Stance coilovers to no gap in front and small tire tuck in the rear. Hope that helps.

Do you have any photos of your car that you'd want to show? What do you mean by inner fender well heated and tucked? Ive never heard of that. Do you mean pulled?

need help ..planning on new wheels. I want to stay with 18 inch. I am on Megan EZ so i can adjust my height, no problem. I want a set that is not sunk in and looks even with the fender (much as possible without and fender mods). What wheels and tire specs do you guys recommend? This is my daily driver so no stretch tires and would like to stay with 40 series for comfort. thanks guys!

Well after way to long to got my new wheel set up....
19x8.5 +17 offset front and 19x9.5 +20 offset rear.
I'm running 235/35/19 all around and I'm on L tuned springs for now....I had a slight rubbing issue in the rear if u hit a large dip but with a small rear roll I'm great on all 4 corners and pretty flush in my eyes.....now I just need coil over and way moar low

Heres a thread I posted pics of the car. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...some-pics.html

As far as the inner fenderwells, I'm talking about the plastic inner liner. I know alot of people just remove it, but I drive my car rain and all. I chose to heat it up with a heat gun and push it up as far as I can. Then tuck it into the lip of the fender I created when I rolled the front fenders. Hope that helps explain it.

They should fit fine.. Just depends on your tire section and ride height.

Im thinking of running

Size - Front 20 x 8.5 / Rear 20 x 10

Bolt Pattern - 5 x 114.3 ( 5 x 4.50 )

Offset - Front +35mm / Rear +40mm

Will this work without a roll and spacers? Thanks. (Im lowered on springs.)What would be the best size tires to run all the way around?

Just curious. I'm dropped on function and form type 2. Was thinking about ordering the varrstoen es7 19x9.5/11 +22 fronts +25 rears! Do I need spacers up front on my is350? What tires should I run? 225/35 255/35?
