How long do your tires last?
So after i went through my set of tires i thought to myself. I wonder how quickly other fellow GSers go through their tires with different ride heights and camber settings. I'm just testing the waters and maybe we can get a good amount of feedback about what works best on our cars, and how aggessive of a driver you are
. I'll start it off:
GS400
Bridgestone RE0760 sport
Camber: -2*
Tires lasted 1 1/2 years (15,000miles)
How much rubber are you going through?

lets just say i went thro 5 pairs of tires on the rear this past summer,.... so maybe i drive a little to aggressively? idk or maybe the fact my car spends most of its time in boost and goin sideways lmao!!!

Now i'm starting to suspect bad toe alignment is my culperate.
at 25k i had about a good 50% left of thread too... i have long commutes to work and school so yea. plus i wasnt slammed with -4 camber or anything. tires are $250 a pop so i dont wanna be wasting it.

I've been running Kumho Ecsta SPT's (245/35/19f x 275/30/19r) for almost two years and close to 20k miles. (I don't really have a long commute)
I have a bit over a 2 inch drop all around on Tein CS V.2, no shaving or rubbing, and I had my aligner try to keep my camber and toe as close to stock as possible.
I drive slow as hell, try to coast alot, and I still have like 60-70% tread all around.

About 20k so far on my Falken 452 tires (POS btw). My Bridgestone RE030 is at 30k with just a little under 50% tread. I have about -1.6 degree camber in front and -1.5 in the rear. 1-1.5 finger gap all around.
If my previous BFG Super Sports weren't such pieces of s, I would have made them last a lot longer. They cupped within 5K miles, and could not be warranteed (I still don't have a firm answer on why). I drove them to about 20K (2 years for me) and finally had to get rid of them. Worst. Tires. EVAR!!!! The guy I worked with at Costco said they were the loudest tires he'd ever heard, and he drove it all of 75 feet. Horrible.
My current tires, Yoko 520's, are fantastic, and are light years ahead of BFG's. I will never buy another BFG because of those and their warranty issues. My Yokos have about 14K on them, and they look brand new. I am a very conservative driver and never slide around corners or go tearing off from a stop. Just not worth it to me. I hate buying tires, so I buy good ones and make them last. I think that's why I'm so pissed at BFG.
I had Bridgestones on my previous car, and they had 65K on them. Still had approximately 20% of tread left. They were rated for 80K, so they would have made it. I sold it, so I don't know if they did.
