Rear STB install help
Bit,
I remember the post, but could not find it, the pics now really made sense since I have the parts in my hand. Now, in the first 2 pics, what kind of tools do you need to tighten the screws on top of the strut tower, being that the screws actually sinks into the base plate?
and as for cutting the hold, I am going to eyeball the location, do i need to cut it big enough for the plate end to protrude? or just big enough for the bar to go through?
thanks for much,

Er, guess you really DIDN'T read my first message:
As far as the hole - I put the plates on then pressed the lining back in place as best I could and 'felt' for the plates to see where the hole should be. I then made small holes just big enough for the pole. I pulled the lining back out, put the pole through and attached it I think.

I have a rear STB bar. You need a thin sidewall deep socket wrench (14mm I think) and torque bar.
I didn't have a torque wrench to put them on at a specific torque setting - I just did it until they were 'good and tight' without overdoing it - with a torque bar you don't need much effort at all.

Thanks all for the help, especially bitkahuna for the pics, the install really was not bad IF you have the right tools. Overall took ~hour, but it's a simple
1. take 3 screws off the strut tower from each side
2. tighten the base plate down
3. put lining back on, and cut holes for the strut bar
4. tighten strut bar
hardest part was the cutting of the hole through the lining, I use the eyeball and feel method. Then it's getting the tools inside the trunk and position your body correctly so you can tighten the nuts for the bar.
Overall impression, I really didn't feel an earth shattering difference, I am not sure if it's even psychological, but maybe the car felt a bit more nimble, car doesn't lean as much on hard turns. I already have Ltuned, f+r sways, and 18's. So, the improvement was barely noticeable.
Now, for the front, the bar will not fit onto the tower, so I guess I need to jack the car up as some members did. Can anyone point me in the right directions as to where I should jack the car up, and anything I need to be careful of when installing the front STB? and again, pics will help too
