Car Shaking While Reversing
The problem for me was being caused by rear warped rotors. Machining fixed most of the issue. There was also warping on the inside drum of the rotor, where the emergency brake shoes make contact. Once I had the inner drum machined the issue was gone.
I have the same issue. I've done pads and rotors all around, motor and trans mount too, didnt fix it. My next thing to check is the driveshaft. I know theres the two bubber insulators and the carrier bearing, if these have play it might cause driveshaft slop. Anyone else ever look into this?
I agree with Debonair. Have you checked your parking brake at the rear rotors?

Hey guys I have the same issues as everyone in this thread are having in my car I have 2 things wrong with it the transmission slips under hard acceleration (When cold only happened twice so not entirely sure) and breaks are squeaky when cold I need help trying to narrow down the issue as when the firestone shop looked at it they could not find anything wrong and then so we took it to the Lexus dealer even they could not figure out what was wrong with the car so they basically told us that they could replace the entire rear subframe and all the drivetrain parts and bushing for a ridiculous amount of money and still said they were not sure if that would even fix it. I need some help trying to diagnose this issue.
