Is this upper radiator hose installed incorrectly?
I just had my upper and lower radiator hoses replace and I just notice that the upper radiator hose may be installed incorrectly. It is touching the coolant reservoir. I do not remember it touching before. It appears that the upper radiator hose appears can be installed both ways even if it is incorrect.

My main concern is what damage may occur if I just leave the upper radiator hose this way?
How much coolant will I lose if I decided to fix it and disconnect the upper radiator hose from the engine and the radiator and reverse the connections? I saw the guy install it and it was very easy.
Thanks in advance for your time an help.

fix it now.. a cheap *** hose should not be allowed to destroy a $4k engine. Also, make sure the clamps are in the correct place and tight. Mine came lose over time. I now clamp it and also attach it to the two pins that sticks up... like this: I I

Just catch it with a bucket if you are concerned... otherwise, just fill it up with distilled water. It won't be too much to be concerned about, if I recall... just make sure you fill it back up.
Why is there a drip there anyhow? is there a leak? if so, get a replacement from where you bought it.
btw, what makes you think it's installed incorrectly?

I believe it was installed incorrectly because the hose should not be touching the coolant reservoir as shown in the 1st and 2nd picture.

I was finally able to take care of this issue today. It only took about 10 minutes at most. I did it when the engine/car was cold. I had a hard time removing the he upper radiator hose from the engine but it was very easy removing it from the radiator.
The upper radiator hose can be installed incorrectly. Both ends of the hose will attach but you will notice that the upper radiator hose will be touching the coolant reservoir when it is installed incorrectly. Im not sure if the lower radiator hose can be installed incorrectly.
This is how it is supposed to look like when the upper radiator hose is installed correctly.

Only a little bit of coolant spilled/leaked out of the hose and radiator when I removed the upper radiator hose. It was only about about 16fl oz which is equivalent to a water bottle. I just filled/topped off the radiator with distilled water after I was done.
Does anyone know what will happen if I get water and coolant on the accessory/serpentine belt?
