Did I miss something???
In their Platinum Program (extended warranty) description on the Lexus company website, they have these listed as covered parts:
Supercharger
Supercharger Intercooler
Turbo Intercooler
Turbo Wastegate
Turbocharger
The list is located here:
http://www.lexus.com/showroom/protection/platinum.html
I can allow for the possibility of including the turbocharged Japan-spec Aristos, but where would the supercharger come in? Unless Lexus is including all possible TRD parts, I can't see where they'd need to include forced induction systems in this warranty coverage. Any thoughts???

Yep, you missed it
.
Click here for Steve Ganz post on TRD Supercharger for Lexus V8 (NOT GS)
I'd say your assumption above is correct (covering dealer-installed TRD parts) unless someone knows about a SC'd factory Lexus I'm not aware of. I believe Toyota sells an OEM SC'd 4-runner.

I guess I wasn't expecting Lexus to have the info updated so quickly considering the info from Steve was posted a scant 10 days ago. I guess $1600-2500 for an extended warranty on a $60k+ supercharged LX isn't that unreasonable....
