Default Status Update.

So just dropping in with a little status update. I've decided to NOT go w/ the VIP style, but instead just go with my own thing to my liking with a little VIP inspiration in there. If i'm wrong with what i'm doing in using the words 'VIP Inspired' please correct me. I know that that's a real touchy area when being used in context.

So here's what i'm going with so far as my first step... I decided to go with some Tanabe DF210's for my suspension. Now I asked around and have been told that they should work with stock shocks, if that's true then great, if not then what shocks will I have to go with in order to get these on my car?

Now the second part is where i'm stuck at... I've decided that i'll go with chrome OEM rims on the car (I like that original sleek look that the Lexus' have with their original rims), but I do not know which would be best to go with and what would LOOK the best with the car being lowered a bit and all. Here's what i'm looking at..

RX330 Rims 18''

---------

IS-F Rims

I think those come in 19's too? Was wondering if they'd work w/ a 2nd Gen GS and look slick.

---------

08 GS430 Rims

---------

And I saw this picture of a LS460 and the rims are sick.. I'm not sure if those are a type of stock rim or what? They look kind of like it, but I could be way off. Anyone able to help me out?

Sorry if the pics are to big/small... Tell me what ya'll think! Any type of opinion is appreciated good or bad.

Thanks in advance.

You say go w/ non-chrome rims? Why's that? Non chrome = look better?

If you have to replace your stock struts/shocks use Bilsteins since they lifetime warranty their parts. Also, the IS-F wheels would be my option. There is someone running those wheels on their GS already, so search for that.

If you only wanna get OEM wheels definitely go with the IS-F 19" gun metal with polished accents but you will definitely need spacers
