GS300 Headlights
Hey, I own a 06 GS 300, but my brother in law just picked a 1999 GS 300 and the headlights are all faded, they look so bad that they are not even worth cleaning up... I found this site www.headlightsdepot.com and the price looks pretty decent... I wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with them before and could give me some feedback before I place a order...

hmm....doing a headlight refinishing this weekend on my wife's gs400...look very faded and I also thought they weren't redoing. Brought them into a shop to get a quote, and he said to try buying a 3m or meguiar's headlight restore kit first for 20 bucks as that should be more than enough. Will have pics post weekend....just got all the sandpaper necessary for my drill...and I have seen people on here do worse before....so it can't be that bad. Unless you have pics? For 20 bucks....might as well try.

I did mine about 3 months ago and they turned out aweome with the Maguire's headlight restore, but now they are back to slightly hazy. Every time you do this it will take down a small layer of the plastic and will need a clearcoat shot on it to maintain their brilliance. Or just buff your headlights real quick every 2 months or so. I'll just keep buffing until i get new ones because some of the haze is on the inside of the lens from condensation.
