ballast goes nicely on the front impact bar. Make sure to use plenty of alcohol. With alcohol, that foam tape doesn't let go!

How would I mount it under the bumper without drilling thru it?

3m tape & a bunch of heavy duty zip ties. if the wires are long enough i would prefer to keep it under the hood/engine bay area safe from water damage. if you really want it secured then get some screws and use the mounting holes and drill it into the bar.

if you really wanna take the time to hide them to "unclutter" your engine bay, i mounted mine the first time under my fenders but when i had to replace a dead ballast i moved them to under the crash bar as this was to annoying even for me to have them out of the engine bay

they should come with mounts, screw the mount to the crashbar and then i suggest a ziptie around it.

only for this reason: one morning i noticed my passenger fog was out and when i went to check the bulb i realized the bulb and ballast were missing....i dont think they were stolen, i think they fell off and went bye bye so now i put them in there cradle
(i would suggest up and down so they cant slide down compared to side to side which allows them to slide out) and ziptied them. i have 4 ballasts on my crash bar as all my lights are HIDS (OEM 4300k low beams, aftermaket 4300k HID highbeams, and aftermarket 3k HID fogs)

if you want i can snap a pic later when i get home from work
