Default Anyone else have this problem?

Every time it rains hard and i go turn on my car it miss fires and looses power, the last time it did it the check engine light and vsc light came on. I had the spark plugs replaced and it fixed the problem but i still would like to know what is causing this. Has anyone else had this problem? Its a 2002 GS300 by the way.

I had this problem in a 98 trans am I used to have. It only occurred after I changed the exhaust to longtubes and a Y pipe . I thought it would be the o2 sensors but it wasn't , I never really figured it out. Some people told me it was the plugs or coils

Possible VAC leak, could be caused by excess moisture

Start the car, and spray break cleaner on all the VAC lines (one at a time), idle will change if there is a leak.

...could also be your ground wires?

Thanks for the advice I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow morning to hook it up to the scanner and see if they can find out what it is.

So I took my car in today and it turns out that the coils, and the ignition wires were bad so I had them replaced, and now its back to normal...
