I recently installed an SRT intake and the car was fine for the first 3 months but now it wont stop throwing a CEL. There are 3 codes that the car consistently throws even after re-soldering all ECU connections on the SRT and "rebooting" car multiple times. I am pretty sure that the reason for the CEL is that on the stock system there is a plug which connects to the airbox whereas the SRT does not have a place for this plug. The codes support my theory and the light has become very annoying. So now for my question, is there some fuse that i can remove in order to disable the light?

Open the gauge cluster and remove the bulb or put black electrical tape over it on your dash. I don't recommend either.

Can the SRT be modified to add this plug? How did other SRT users fix the issue? I doubt they all dealt with the CEL or disabled it.

 

I have no issue with my SRT kit.
No problem at all.
