Default Headlights....

Hey guys, got a decision to make but not sure what to do.

Currently I have a 98 gs 300 with the stock HID housings (i think, i dont see any aftermarket ballasts or anything so im assuming they are stock hid's).

The lenses need to be polished, but other than that they are good.

I have a chance to buy some 04 lexus GS 430 headlights with the green tint. They come with halo rings, cleared signals and a brand new aftermarket 6000 HID kit.

Questions..

Should I keep the ones i have because they are oem HID head lamps?

How much are mine worth in the market if i try to sell?

Would i have to mod anything to use the 04 headlamps + hid's

I would just polish the lenses. The green tint is cool, but do you really want to spend money just on the tint.

Just know that HID headlights have different 'internals'. If you add aftermarket HIDs in a non-HID headlight, you won't have the cut-off line. The beam will be scattered and you'll annoy oncoming traffic.

Also, I thought all 04 GS430s came with HIDs, so I think you won't have to mod anything.
