Oke now i've got my 2GS i thought it was time to make me a topic off my 2GS. Yesterday was the first time i've washed and spraywaxed the car and the colour and the shining off the paint are super.

I see you have a roof antenna. Do you also have the electrical antenna on the right rear quarter panel? (mine has both, the roof antenna is aftermarket, first owner had a phone installed)

 

Try this for it, it will trip you out! Do one side of the hood first and compare the 2 and you'll see what I mean:



Apply to car, use that spray you have generously on a micro fiber towel (to dampen it) and use it to wipe it off. This stuff is awesome! Beads water from rain like nothing too I use it every 2 weeks just to keep the ride shiny and clean. With Tech Wax, no need to wash your car, yes its that good (hope its available where you're from)

 

Yep we have that product in Europe. I think I'm gonna try it.

 

Its actually best for dark cars. For your car, I'd get the spray version its a 3rd of the price of the wax however dont think theres anything wrong with using it on lighter cars Wax is 20 bucks a pop but worth it just remember to move it out of the way when you're done using it! LoL I left mine in front of my car and ran over it so now theres a nice stream of shine in my drive way lol (and a wasted $20 bottle )

I've done that with a brand new can of tire shine before.

 

I'm not sure whats worse, the mess that was made or the pride that was shot down for doing something so retarded! LoL

 

Hell yea! Nothing like breaking a sweat, standing back and wanting to make another sweat making love to it! LOVE shiny cars!

i use Butter Wet Wax + M Seal sealant from Chemical guys... i believe its far better than the OTC stuff.

 

but otc stuff is what were talking about. If you want we can start talking about what I used at the dealer

Thanks guys, I've been using Mothers sinds '07 and not alot off peaple use it in Europe but before that i've used Megiuars for al long time. Megiuars is pretty big now in Europe but that New Megiuars Tech Wax 2.0 i've not jet seen before so i was getting me a new collection of Mothers but i maybe getting the New Megiuars now. I don't care what is costs as long as it works it's fine with me.

The antenna that is on my roof was placed there by the previeus owner and a friend of mine told me it is a TV antenna and yes i stil have my elec antenna in the quarter panel.

 

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna check if the stock headunit will work with an aftermarket antenna. If so, I'm going to delete the electric antenna and keep the one on the roof (maybe replace with a sharkfin).
