Default Recognize these lights?

I had been walking around "Back to the 50's" which one of the largest car shows in the U.S. After walking around and seeing pretty much everything under the sun, I had just randomly been walking by this coupe and sure enough they caught my eye. I didn't waste much time and walked up to the guy and said "I know exactly where those lights came from", and he replied, "bet ya can't". Needless to say I gave him almost the correct year, I said "2001-2005 GS300, 400, or 430", and he grinned from ear to ear and said that it was a 2001 GS300 and that I was the first person to ever guess it correctly. I simply replied that I really liked the idea as I have the same lights back at home, just in a GS. I went on to congratulate him about his awesome car. I took a couple pictures and figured you guys might get a laugh or smile from it. Anyways, happy cruising.
I forgot what year it is, but it's an old Ford that the guy built himself. Awesome!

Here's just an idea of the show, over 12,000 cars, anything pre-1965, NO MUSTANGS! YES! and about a million spectators. This is on Sunday with about 2 hours left in the show 'til gates close.

Like the guy's vanity plate -- nothing better than building it yourself.

Looks like a hell of a show, too!

He did a fine job on the metal work around the lights to recess them.

Great show and clean integration.

Rod Millen did the same thing on the Hot Rod he built for Lexus.

Here it is on display at our EOS4 meet in NorCal back in 2005:
