I live in Florida and when i was shopping for my GS, the Local lexus dealership had a 2000 GS400 with 24k on it, It was Flawless! They were asking 14,000. I offered them 12k cash and they didnt accept it. If it were my car i would ask around 10,500 or 11,000 for it.
But I'm also wondering if all those conventional wisdoms - 'good freeway miles' vs 'bad stop and go' city miles are really true.
Your feedback is really appreciated.
Typically cars that drive stop and go have more wear and tear due to potholes, stopping hard, more shifting from tranny, sitting still at traffic lights for a while ( don't think that hurts much if your cooling system is working properly) but either ways cruise controlled highway miles are easy miles as long as you aren't averaging 150 mph
