This should answer both of the previous questions
ha yeah cardomain is still around, however in my opinion people dont use it like they should. no one leaves comments on your ride, or rates it and to me thats what its all about. most people just look at the pictures and thats it. (and in response to the other question) is started out at radio shack, and bought green LED's , the little plastic holders, and the resistors. the people at RS can calculate and let you know what Ohm's resistor to buy. then i used a drill and a drill bit that was larger than the base of the led holder but smaller than the trim piece to drill a hole in the back side of the foot well lights so it all looked factory place the holder in the hole and lock the led in the holder you will then need to solder the resistor to either legs of the led and that will be the positive side the side with no resistor of course will be the negative. i also bought little splice things where you put a wire in it and place the end of the new wire in the other hole then you press it together and it cuts into the wire and basically connects the new wire to the factory wire, i think there called scotch locks...... the factory wire i ised was the wire that goes to the ashtray i think there are 3 or 4 wires you will have to use a tester to see which one is the pos side that works with the lights. IMPORTANT make sure you do not use the wire that goes to the cigarette lighter it has power all the time and will cause your lights to stay on any time the car is on. the next step is to connect the wire to the led legs, if you want to be fancy add a pig tail so if you ever need to remove the panel you can just click the pigtail loose and drop the panel. if your strapped for time or dont have the money for the pigtails then just alow a good foot of extra wire to stay over the panel and then solder the wires to the led legs, worst case scenario if you ever need to remove the panel all the way just melt or break the solder and re solder when re in stalling. the last step is to re in stall the panels. a helpful hint for brilliant brightness you may want to install multiple leds or brighter ones, maybe even white if you dont mind it not looking factory you could use different colors such as red green blue yellow pink UV or color changing. i wanted mine to mach the factory green, and be very subtle just to illuminate the floor board enough to see if you drop something. I hope this is helpful!
