Default Where do I start??

I know this is kind of a pretty broad question but what would be the first thing to do to upgrade my car?

Here is a picture of the car...

The car has been lower but I am not sure how low...to give you an idea the wheels are 17"s. (I want to put 20"s on) I imagine it's been lowered between 1/2 and 1". There is a cool air intake in it as well. But I want to look to do some more aftermarket work to it.

Oh and you can enjoy the back drop...got to love Oklahoma weather. That was around mid May when we got hail larger than softballs!

Any ideas would be helpful as I am new to this...Thanks!

First and foremest make sure maintenance is up-to-date. Don't skip on the more important things, especially balljoints, etc. If and when that is covered, I'd say swap your 98-00 tails (and inners if they are faded) for 01-05 tails, 01-05 grill, buff your headlights, debadge, and swap amber side markers for clear ones. Those are the easiest, cheapest, and most effective mods right off the bat for your car.

All other mods depend on what your budget is and what you are trying to achieve with your car. But my safe guess is doing suspension mods (strut bars, braces, swaybars) and a nice axle or catback exhaust. These mods increase sound, looks, and handling and will make a very noticeable difference in everyday driving.

I would switch back to OEM 17" wheels, wash/clay/wax the car and de-haze the headlights

I just bought some PLASTX at Walmart for $6 to clean the lights. It definitely works and probably the best option aside from swapping them out or using some type of wet set paper.

Rim swap is #1 -- those look like a Wal-Mart hubcap made into a rim. Headlight buff, taillight swap, front lip.

100% on the maintenance part....then wheels, then coilovers, and then on and on and on and on.......

1st thing, close your door because you're letting lil gremlins in. OH SNAP! There jumping into your back seat!!! j/k

If you are on a budget like me the easiest/cheapest enhancements would be to buff your lights out. I used the Maguire's kit and it came out amazing plus you have tons of extra compound left over for future touch ups and then to debadge your trunk next. Maybe clean and paint your calipers as well. then save for the real expense stuff like coilovers and wheels.

Thanks everyone.

The mx is up to date and the car is running great. So I am going to have a few dents and dings removed and buff out the head lights. Then I got a guy who is going to sand buff and wax to bring back that show room floor glow.

Wheels are a def and in order! Then I will carry on with the tail and side lights and the front lip. Will keep you posted.

I started off with rims...then It lead me on to coil overs...and as I was puttin on my coils, I saw my calipers r ugly so I went to change those...then as I step back to look how my ride looks wit new wheels..I saw it was missin more so I got some window visors..then chrome handles...lol etc. The mod goes on as I go..don't let mod bug bite too hard...it bit me hard... Lol
