Just bought a GS400 a few weeks ago. Clean title, 2 owners, only had 83K miles. Was owned by an older guy who babied the car. Always garaged, maintained on time.
I've been in the Honda world since 1993. I've owned quite a bit of honda's that I've raced, from a turbo Integra, 93 civic hatch with a Type R motor, RSX Type S, etc. I must say, I'm happy to be a part of the Lexus world
As far as options, it came with HID's stock which I'm definitely happy about. And I prefer these rims over the other GS stock rims. The radio pixels were dead so that gave me a perfect excuse for getting a double din. One issue with the car that pissed me off. The owner doesn't have the master keys and didn't have the keyless entry so I ended up buying a Viper alarm with keyless entry. Now I'm stuck having to buy new master keys. Cheapest I've found was $325 from an independent locksmith who has a hookup with lexus to do a reflash and will provide me with 2 master keys.
Only mods so far have been a Kenwood DNX-5160 double din DVD/Navi and my old Alpine 4 channel amp and 12" Rockford Fosgate Sub with box. Also added front clears and since I hate amber lights in the rear, some cheap ebay red vinyl overlays.
Upcoming mods: trunk lip (maybe), GS350 or 19" HRE replica rims, and a simple drop (maybe KYB w/ H&R springs). The drop isn't as important to me as ride comfort so that's why I might go with a shock/spring combo.
