Anyone have any problems with:

Amazon Strong Arm or Mighty Lift from Autozone?

Mighty Lift Amazon is 23.99 for a pack of 2.
Amazon Strongarm is 16.44 + free shipping (EACH)

Not tryna pay 100+ for OEM shocks.

i installed strongarms without too many problems. Have some mechanism for holding up your hood.

Be sure to have proper wrench set so you can remove your old bolt-in studs. I didn't have fancy racheting wrenches, so took me a bit longer with a small monkey wrench to get the old out.

Lineup the old before installing.
The only other note in my install, if I remember is the heads are thread-on screws, so they don't just spin freely. So if you end up needing to rotate a head 90degrees, but the sucker isn't turning; unscrew it 270 the other way instead.

There is a difference. the GS ones that I bought were 4536

Amazon.com: StrongArm 4536 Lexus GS300 Hood Lift Support 1998-04, Pack of 1: Automotive Amazon.com: StrongArm 4536 Lexus GS300 Hood Lift Support 1998-04, Pack of 1: Automotive

Amazon also has an option that lets you see if the item is compatible for your car.

I should be getting these today. After I get some time to install them I'll post a review.

Mine didn't come with the ball head bolt. How did you cut off the old tokia factory mounting bolt ?

You don't. You need to return or replace the item you bought or call to get the missing part.
