Default Weekend Projects. Need Help!! 56k Beware

Finally got around to installing the aluminum pedals that have been sitting in my garage for the past 3 months. The install was a pain in the ***, but I'm happy with the results

Also was in the process of installing and mounting the SAFC in the ashtray, but ended up braking the ashtray while attempting this. Postponed until I can find another ashtray

And lastly, here is where I need some help. I've removed the stock spoiler, but for the life of me cannot get these screws off that are holding these brackets in place. The heads on all 4 screws are stripped and they don't move at all. What are my options??? It looks terrible!!

Replacing with a JP replica wing so it's going to be ok

Drill the bolt heads off, should take about 2 minutes a bolt...

If I do that, won't the heads rattle around in the trunk??

I guess you can try and use a dremel with a cut off wheel to cut a slot on them, and use a big flat screw driver to unscrew them.

Be careful with that replica Jp I got one too! It's constructed like crap! The shop had to bondo the hell out of my spoiler. 1st paint shop who did it did an ok job but started to crack to hell after 6 months. So beware!

Thanks for the compliments guys!

LudeNsoL - Not sure of the brand of the pedals. Got them off another member.
The wing is the ebay replica everyone is talking about. when I saw the price it was going for, I had to jump on it. I did a quick check and from the looks of it, the fitment appears to be perfect. Looking forward to getting it installed : )

tmf2004 - The emblem for the steering wheel is a stick on. Not an 01 wheel

Any other suggestions regarding the trunk?? I'm kind of leaning towards letting the body shop deal with it when I get it repainted with the wing.

I think with those aluminum pedals your interior would be much better suited if you used aluminum finish or just to remove the wood look covers. Just my .02 but congrats on the weekend projects dude, I can't wait to do a few myself

Whew...at least you didn't break a real wood ashtray.

Good luck with the spoiler.
