I want to clear out my orange corners like you did. I sent you a PM, but never got a reply. I knew you did it on your car, and I wanted to see pics, and well as know how you removed it. Below is the general post I put up regarding this.
I do I remove my headlight assembly out of my 94' GS300? I undo the 2 bolts for each, am I missing some? But they won't come out, the inside part seems to swing out slightly, but the outside part (the half nearest the corner) doesn't want to move. Also the bolt that is on the very inside of the headlight, seems to be under another piece of metal that is part of my bumper. I know I am doing a very poor job of explaining this, sorry.
hey buddy, your on the exactly the right track! There are two bolts, right where you think they are. There in the bumper area. It's sorta easy to get to them. You must pop out one of the little black clips that hold the plastic, rubber crap (that stops dirt from flying in the engine) Pull it back and you will be able to reach in there and unbolt them. I know watcha mean about not being able to describe it better. I was trying to explain this all to "mischief", and it was frustrating. If it gets real harsh i might be able to describe it better over the phone., or through pics. I would post pics but i dont know how to do it? - i have a scanner and scanned my pics into the computer, but dont know what do now. When you see the pics of my clear headlights with blue bulbs im sure you wont stop until that orange plastic is out!!!!!

One another post a guy said that you have to also remove a 3rd bolt that you have to access through the wheel well, did you? I am not sure what you are talking about the black click, I will have to look again. Pictures would be great the more the better, I also would love to see day/night and with/without the headlights on to see the corners. When you post a reply there is a box just above where you click submit and you clikc browse next to it, and then use that to find on your computer where the pictures are click on, and then submit the entire post. But you can only do one picture at a time. Thanks for your help, hopefully I can get them out when I get some time. Matt
Robsneak...did you take the assembly apart and if so, did you do it the way it was described in that Supra post, by heating it in the oven?
I want to try it, but I REALLY don't want to shell out $500 for a new headlight...wait then theres one new one and one old one...I have to buy the other side!!! Tack on another $500...ouch!
I just did mine last night, not too hard to take out, I think it took me longer and was harder because of my different bunper. Clearung out the orange was easy. It looks nice. I want to still keep the legal orange light but during the day it looks kinda crappy with the orange bulb reflection. So do they make a bulb that has clear glass (so it looks good during the day) but still lights up orange so that it is legal? I will post pics as soon as I can.
McNelson. your car looks soo sweat man. could you e-mail me the full instructions on how to clear our my headlights too. i have a 93 black gs300.

In thispost hey are talking about cleaning lights, I ahev never done it so i don't know.
As far as the corners, it wasn't easy for me, but robbsneak had an easier time. I think it may have been because of my body kit, used some different bolts, etc. I had to take out 7 bolts per side to remove the headlight. Then once it is finally out through where you put the corner bulb, you take a flat screwdriver and pop out the orange and then break it up carefully so it falls out the hole. Be very careful not to scratch up the inside of the clear headlight housing or you will see it from the outside. I wish I could explain better how to remove the headlight.
Originally posted by Jmai22 so just a flat head screw driver?? i don't have to heat up the headlights housing and open up the whole housing?? how long does it take to pry a side?
Yes just the screw driver. No way, do not heat it up nor do you have to break ANY seal. Just stick it in the hole where the corner bulb normally goes and carefully pry it out, take your time! To gte it to pop out, cause it may take a few tries, and to break it apart took like 10-15 min per side way tops. Let me know how it turns out, and be sure to post pics! Good luck!
i think i'm gonna try to pry it out without removing the headlights. then after that stick a piece of gum at the tip of the screw driver and take out the small pieces. here i go
SWEET!!!!. i just went out and got a screw driver and play around with the passenger side without removing the actual headlight and it came out soo easily. i knocked it out of the socket and its out. now all i gotta do is crack it in half and pull it out. i chickened out because its getting dark but i can tell its gonna be easy. i thought the orange was part of the headlight but its just a little orange piece. so freaking sweat man thanks again
Good luck, I am really suprised that it worked. But I think you will end up having lots of little sh*t floating around in the bottom when you break it apart. But give it a try if you want, if it doesn't work it isn't the end of the world, then you will just have to end up taking the headlight out after all. Don't forget we want to see pics!
i'll just jack your picturea and post them up i have the exact same car except with out the kit and rims and springs and shocks and intake and turbo and everything else the factory came with
