Default Can anyone help? Trunk weatherstrip (pic inside)

Can anyone tell me how the weatherstrip is supposed to go on the 2nd generation GS?

Here is how mine is, but I am not sure if it's on correct.

The strip goes OVER the black taillight panel and then under towards the bottom as you can see in the pic... I am wondering if the whole thing is supposed to go under the panel.

Can anyone with a factory GS (that hasn't been tweaked by shop noobs that never put stuff back the way it's supposed to go) run to their car and see how the factory has it set up? I'd really appreciate the help.

Not my trunk pic, but it looks as if it's supposed to go under the black panel.

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it! Can anyone confirm this by actually checking out their GS? Because I can't really tell 100% from these two pics that the strip goes UNDER the black panel like I think it's supposed to.

Give me an hour and I'll go out to take a picture for you. I'm eating lunch at the moment.

yeah i just checked it goes under the light panel. ok now the question is, have you removed the tails before? because if not...the strip could have popped iout or a rear accident and the light was replaced, strip placed incorrectly. so random but just wanted to investigate
