Default Convert 98 NAV to 01-02 NAV... Possible?

Anyone have any ideas on this? Aside from the having to buy the face plate and button setup, it should just be a matter of replacing the screen, and the HD based unit for the DVD based unit.

Or is there more to it than that?

SpectraGS3 The cost to doing this is very expensive. The screen alone is $4700.00,plus the Nav. ECU, plus the wire harness is difference. I say forget about it. Get an Alpine or Kenwood.

Yeah, trade in the car - it would be the simplest and least expensive overall.

Good lord, 4700 just for the screen! Where does Lexus get these things manufactured at, NASA? Wow, for that I could get a decent 40" plasma screen in my car, now that would be cool!
