Default Remote and Door Lock Problems

I have a 2000 GS300, after buying it, the doors were acting funny. I would push the lock and unlock key on remote and some locks will respond, but not others....I would hear the click but still in the unlock position. I read about the Door Actuators and actually ordered the part. I was a little nervous about the diy, so I took it to the shop I bought the car from. They told me that I need the big white piece for all doors and not just those actuators....they did not want to take apart the piece and put in the actuator.....Anyway, when they put it back together.....it does not work the same....Now the remote will not do anything even opening the trunk. It has power cause I can see the red indicator light. It starts the car, but does not do anything when I press any of the buttons. Does it need to be reprogrammed, or did they not put something back correctly? Should I give up and take to the stealership and give up my arm and leg?

Default More weird things

Well, the remote does send signal to the car.....If I manually lock the driver's side door, and I click to close the locks, it will lock the doors that are ok.....the trunk opens too. When I unlock the car, it unlocks some doors, but then seconds later, all 4 windows roll down automatically and the sun roof opens. I was able to repeat this several times. How crazy is that huh? I wonder what was not put back correctly when they messed with it.

Well, I went to the dealer to see what was going on. I authorized a hundred bucks for 1hr to diagnose. They found a wire that was not reconnected... This fixed the strange action of all windows rolling down...etc. They did say that I will need the whole actuator and not just the motor..and it will cost....wait for it.....about $2000 to fix. I think that is motivation enough to take on the DIY that so many others did and with the help of the video that NguyenGS42 posted it should be fine. I just don't want to take this apart and put it back and blow up to pieces when I try to start it.
I do have a question.....Is Lexus just trying to get me to buy the $480 a piece actuator, when I don't really need that big thing? I already have the actuator motors. Which door is the easies to fix, cause it looks like all of them are bad.
NguyenGS42....do I need to really get that gear puller? Can I use something else instead? Thanks all. Please excuse my "noob-iance" lol. I just love this car and don't want to royally mess it up.
