Does anybody have these on a 2GS? I have been looking at the gnosis gs1 and the gnosis gs3 for a gold gs400. I searched and didn't see anything though. I will take pictures tomorrow, its stock.

I would go with brushed aluminum for a gold GS. Make sure the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. The one you linked is for BMW's bolt pattern so it won't fit. Assuming the offsets would be the same, the front will fit no problem. The rears may poke out a bit so you might have to shave the rear fenders depending on the tire size you plan on running too. Are you lowered?

Gold is different... Just put aluminum brush and chrome lip rims. I'm sure that gold will work out even with your car and slam the sh! t out of it.
ive seen a chrome lexus drop.... It looks good actually.

Gold is a hard color to perform aesthetic modifications on since it is considered an "old person's" color and isn't too flattering. It can be done but you don't see too many around, even on this forum with very clean, modded gold 2GS.
Take a look at this thread for some inspiration. He is a member here too but I can't remember his user name. I can only remember that he is Adrian's (Bluelex) friend. He's got different wheels now and looks even better now than with the old chrome Lowenharts.

If you're ready to pull the trigger on some wheels, I would definitely do brushed aluminum centers with a chrome lip.

Yeah gold wasn't my first choice but the owner had really taken care of the car as far as maintenance goes and i just couldn't pass it up. I had been looking for one for a while and this was the best i could find. I payed more than what i think the car is worth but....... And yes the color is very odd. it looks different depending on how the sun is or where its parked, hard to explain. All in all I love the car! just not the color. And thanks for the input on wheels.

Yea, like the guy said above, brushed aluminum faces would look good. I have a gold GS 300, they're aren't many of us with the color. You can look up my post to see pics of mines to get an idea on wheels with the color. I just have some budget $500 wheels, eventually I'll step my game up. I have silver centers with a polished lip. Don't worry man, the gold will grow on you.
