Default Puddle Lights

Can they be rigged to where anytime the interior lights come on, such as when the car is unlocked, they come on. instead of just the doors opening? also are puddle lights difficult to install? thanks guys

You can wire it to anything you want. You just need to make sure that your not over loading it. And yes they are relatively easy to install assuming you got a good kit.

Yep, just tap it to your front footwell lights. That's what I did.

wire them to the dome light. So they will go on when you unlock with your keyless, they will go off when you lock it and go on when you open the doors.

The footwell lights is easier to get. The LEDs even dim out when they turn off.

I hooked mines up to the domelight unit so it can be controlled by the OFF/DOOR/ON switch.

My thoughts exactly as I read through.

Make sure that if you do a relay you fuse it for just a bit more than the LED's will draw. No sense having 30A available if you only need 5A. I'd rather a fuse blow at 10 than 60!

lol, that reminds me of how people think that when a fuse blows, the fuse is the problem, so they ask, "should I put a 20a instead of the recommended 10a so that it wont blow" not seeing that if more than 10a of surge goes through, the wires and/or unit are toast! LoL! good times GOOOD times
