Default worth the buyback?

I just received word from my insurance that my Pearl white 99 gs 400 will be declared a total. Is it worth buying and parting out? Its in good shape from the front doors back. Left fender still good, right fender got a little bend on the sheet metal. Has 5 spoke chrome 17 with new tires, new brakes about 6 months ago. No nav and a beige interior. Mirrors all work.
Any ideas?

I'm sure the insurance gave you a price for the buy back. It depends on how much they will give you for the full total, versus keeping the car plus cash lol. Otherwise, I know I can't tell you what to do

This thread is pointless until you tell us what you got paid, and what the buyback is.

If the buyback is 5.00, buy it back....that's a deal!

If the buyback is 20,000.00, then no, not a good deal.

Haven't gotten word back from the insurance company on the buyback cost, but it seems like the parts might be worth more than the buyback cost, unless I am oversetimating the value of used gs400 parts.
I will post back when I get the figures from them. Thanks guys.

You should also think about if you will resell in the future. Many people will not buy a car that has a salvaged title.
