FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic)...fiberglass basically...

The kit is a one-off import from Japan...not a kit you can just "get" anywhere....Steve Ganz can special order one for you...I think it's like $2600 for F/S/R (front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper). It's a complete replacement bumper kit (except the sideskirts which go over the stock ones)

What color does the kit come in? Like how does this kit and most kits come? Do they come in matching colors or primed ready to paint? How much does painting usually cost BTW??? Finally what was the total cost you Manaray? Like kit, paint(if necessary), installation, etc....

Most kits come gel coated...RARELY do they come painted...the only I know of is the JDM Factory Toyota kit...you have to have a body shop prep and paint it...cost depends on the body shop...average is about $1000 for a full bumper (front/rear) and sideskirts which includes fitting and installation (on a well fitting kit...ill fitting knock-off kits cost more to install and many times looks bad due to bad quality...unless the body shop fixes it...)

As for my "final" cost, that's irrelavent because it's not a "average" price...

As for the rarity of the kit, yes, as far as I know, it's the only one in the states...it's not even common in Japan because it's relatively new and the company that produces it is VERY small...kit even comes with serial numbers...

a1Lexus - Do you EVER READ the threads? Your questions are ALWAYS already answered...WTF?

You get what you pay for thats for sure. My veilside kit wasn't cheap even me getting it at cost, but the one thing that I can tell you that my bodyshop guy said was that the fit was "perfect." FYI, I paid $800 cash for my front grill, front bumper, sides, rear bumpre, and wing (including drilling holes) to be preped, primered, painted, and installed but then again I've been going to the same guy since I had my 91 toy 4x4 and 95 supra. Hope that helps someone.
