Default finally got wheels.

as many of you know, I've stopped modding my car because I'll be driving something different next year. I even decided to not get rims because I'll want to keep the stock 16s for comfort. But for some reason the chance came.

So I got these on. WORK Equip "Voggard" wheels. They're often called "Drifter Wheels" in Japan because many of those Silvias and FCs that do mountain road and drifting like to use these. I guess the design makes it easy to drift, or easier to see how the wheel spin or whatever.

So instead of Model 5 or other wheels that are already on other GSs, I decided that I might as well put on something that NO ONE has, and NO ONE will probably have

2-piece wheel (doesn't look like it). Light. Vents my brakes nicely Relatively expensive 17s, at least for me (please don't compare to Volk GT-series )

When it spins it looks alot bigger than it is and also looks like it has lip.

Hmmm...different...I'm a fan of PARTICULAR 3 spoke wheels...specifically, the Super Advan Gen II (in Black/Red!) but ONLY on a FD...like this...but this one has the silver version of the wheel...

Dunno Globe...not a pretty wheel on the GS IMO...but I know what you REALLY want...

Super Advan is great. Other than the color combo you mentioned, I've seen one in Black/Blue, on a blue NSX. Gorgeous!

Well I know this wheel on the GS might not be as good looking as some other wheels. But hey I think it's better than alot of Bling Bling chrome plate wheels out there!

And I like to drift (especially with my bad tires) hence Drifter Spec wheels!

I'll still be on CL. Keeping the GS. I just won't be driving it much.

Yes I do speak very highly of these rims. These wheels are lighter than those fat chrome wheels, are made better (Work quality), and to me they look better than alot of the Bling Bling designs. And I'm not the only person who thinks this way. If I don't care about the BLING factor (I prefer JDM over BLING anyday), then these wheels suit me better than Dubs. Anything wrong with that? I never said dubs suck or anything. They ARE better to me. Dig?

Yeah I actually looked at these rims before I bought them. Do you think that's going to make any difference as to what I think about 23 inch rims with weird bodykits on a GS? Come on......

globe,

your choice is very different. a little too different for me, but that's what makes it interesting. nice choice avoiding the whole bling bling DuBz thing. Though Wei's chrome rims look damn good, and what do you know, Works
