what can should i look for? or how do i fix?

If you know how to remove the trim around the ignition then you're all set. It's a #74 wedge bulb.

If you don't know how to remove the trim, all you do is grab the trim directly over the ignition at the bottom and pull up. It should come right out without any excessive force. Be careful not to lose the ring that goes around the ignition. Then you will see a black clip that you have to undo and the bulb should be resting there. It may take some muscle to get the clip back on right, but chances are you're not going to break it, so don't be afraid to push a little harder.
