Sorry if this is already covered! if so please excuse me, ( and dont tell me to use the "SEARCH" button ) I've tried

I recently got some coilovers, but decided to Go lower! Super low! got an alignment..heres the problem! when i make a turn it doesnt swing back ...I guess auto steer..? or whatever the proper word would be!
do you guys know what im talkin about?
is this caused by dropping my car too low or the alingment guys messed with something?
how can i get my GS to turn like it used to , also im riding on 20's if that would make any diffrence

you may be so low that your tires are getting caught on the fenders when you turn although unlikely. dead ball joints?

its called caster, sounds like who ever did your alignment didnt adjust caster. just toe and camber, caster is setting one wheel further in front of the other.

If it doesn't swing back anymore your balljoints might break soon. If you haven't changed them you should get them checked out.

It is definitely a caster problem, but GS do not have stock caster adjustment

I 2nd to that. Lower balljoints are saying bye bye so if you didn't do it yet, go and do it.

also, if you tightened the steering rack it makes it even harder to "swing back".

Club Lexus, I'd like to thank this community! you guys always come through with your expertise! but right about now i wanna slap myself for not asking/posting this sooner! after my last reply i "tried" to leave , backing out my car kissed the ground as if i hit the switches! YES passenger side ball joint snaped!

Thanks Chrispy you and the other few nailed it ! it was my freakin ball joint, changed them things 3 times within the last year, first BOTH side , than driver side now the passenger side

ok so after i replace my ball joints do i need,.... aftermarket casters? since we dont have stock casters?

"bye bye?" them things dropped me like a bad habit! didnt evan come close to saying BYE! without any warning! (no sqeaks or anything!

BTW this is my 3rd balljointt breaking within a year! what am i doing wrong?
do i need aftermarket, better ones please suggest me some! adjustable control arms maybe?

PS: MAIN reason i didnt post pics is cause yesterday i ran through a really rough DEEP, LONG pot hole thingy on the side of the freakin freeway on the shoulders so my wheel is no longer a circle! It's an Effin octagon or sum *****!
what do I do CL im tired of replacing my ball joints every 3 mnts and paying 175-225 on tow fees! PLEASE HELP

driving habits? hows the roads? have you hit any curbs or anything? it shouldnt break 3 so quick. maybe 3 times in its lifetime. which is a long time from now.
