A big thanks to the mobile service guy (Vatche Agopian) at Glendale Calif. Lexus for fixing the creeking noise in my dash.

Both the dealer and I first though it was the insert around the gauges ( replaced....no fix), then a bunch of felt around the insert (again no fix).

The mobile tech guy guessed in might be coming from where the cover to the (A pillar?) comes down and goes into the back of the dash. In my case he could push on the end of the cover near the dash and it would make the noise. I guess the dash was pushing up against the cover. He removed the cover, put felt around the plastic tab that juts out at the end of the cover that goes behind the dash and applied a little lubricant somewhere behind the dash. Problem fixed....hope it lasts.

He used a special tool to get the interior cover off.....not sure I would try to get this off myself without the tool.

Side note - Service Dept at Lexus of Glendale is under new management. Anyone who has avoided them in the past might want to give them another shot....I can definately tell the difference.
