Has anyone ever swapped a 98-00 GS3 steering wheel for the newer 01-05 GS3 steering wheel?

Is it a straight swap? problems? SRS light? Cruise control?

I'm looking to do a swap but just wanted to know before I buy the newer steering wheel. Any info would be great!

 

I thought there was a DIY either in the GS or SC section.. But I'm not 100% sure
