I would get a spring and shock combo, never upgrade one without the other. If you're going to just buy coils, it's a better investment in the end.

Megan coilovers--> 850 shipped through the vendors or get used coilovers...trust me it will be cheaper than you realizing your not low enough after u install the springs..

..but if you really want springs id get the df's seen em in person on 18's not bad..

The rear won't sit level with the front, unless you have a heavy system in the trunk to level it.

What he said... I was pretty happy with my kyb/tanabe combo until I went to a meet this past weekend and saw how low the other cars were. They made me look like I was 4x4. Im gonna be upgrading to coils in the near future lol. I shouldve just listened to the guy i bought the setup from and go with coilovers.

Well since you gentlemen are talking about this. I do think that my GS300 looks like it is a 4x4 when looking at anyone that did some form of lowering so here is my question when you get a coil over when you start to lower the vehicle what other upgrade need to be done along with this. I have 20 x 8.5 all around how low can I go without causing rubbing when I'm driving? The tires are 255/35 all the way around.

The DF210's offered me a nice drop all around on 19's. It would be even better since you have 20's. If I were to do it all over again I would've start off with coilovers first.

with 18s there's some minor gap, like one finger but i'm happy with it. i wasn't goin for a low low low stance. just wanted a conservative drop without ruining the ride. check the shock/spring thread.

if u choose, DFs would be one of the better s/s combo's
however, coilovers are always a nicer option
