Finally decided to move on from my old 18" BBS RK's that I LOVED... (check the classifieds ) and picked these up... They're only temporary for the winter until I find a new setup, so please feel free to love, hate, laugh, whatever. I don't remember seeing another 2GS on here with these, so I figured I'd share.

SC430 OEM 18x8 with twisted star centers.







They came with a set of Pirelli Pzero nero M+S tires which by the way.... WORST TIRES EVER.

heh, it's a sad story how I got these for free. I bought them for $250 from a guy on craigslist, advertised as mint condition wheel/tire combo right. While purchasing them from him, he mentioned he was on ClubLexus as an SC430 owner. I buy them. Next day, I check the SC430 forum and see that 2 weeks prior to him putting them up for sale, he had a thread about how they leaked and he had nothing but problems with them.

So I called him out, he refunded the money only after a little "coaxing". The valve stems are just busted I think, so I'm gonna replace them when I get a free afternoon.

I've taken them off for the winter as I needed snow tires...16" tires are cheaper than 18". I'm looking for new wheels though, they were temp just like you said.

LOL, your car looks like my twin! I know they don't really look that bad... but yall must be in a good mood today. I thought for sure we'd have some haters. Sometimes I glance over at the car and think "man, that looks hard". Then sometimes I'll see it in the parking lot and wanna set it on fire

 

It's not too bad, I mean, I don't personally like them 100%, but it beats having 16". I got complements from some and dislikes from others...can't please everyone man.

dude you went back and got your $250 refund on those ! from a fellow CL member , $250 was a steal , i would of called it quits than, either way car looks good

 

I knew it was a steal, which is why I didn't try haggling on the price or anything. What pissed me off, was the guy telling me they rode great, had no leaks or problems, and just needed to be filled with a little air and put em right on my car.

Then I find out he had nothing but problems with them for a long time, and didn't want them on his wife's car. But it's safe for my wife to be driving a car with 20 psi in one of the front tires? 25 psi in the rear? I felt like he endangered my family's safety by lying about the condition of them.

Thankfully, it was resolved without anyone getting hurt and I got a free set of nice wheels So thanks for listening to me vent, and I appreciate the kind comments guys.
