Default Front wheel bearing assembly.. can anyone help?

i was thinking about doing the front wheel bearing assembly myself, but then i got to thinking that i have to take the bearing to get pressed in and out. y not just pay for it to get done and dont have to get my hands dirty right? what would be the right price for a shop to get it done, i would be doing the front lower ball joints, tie rods inner and outer and the wheel bearing. I got quoted 700-1050 and that is my buying the parts... i guess is the wheel bearing assembly a diy project?

if you're willing to get your hands dirty, just take the whole knuckle to a shop with a press for the bearing. should be a minimal charge. the money you save could go towards an alignment after the ball joints and tie rods.

Shops local to me charge $30 to press a bearing. I'd so the whole job and buy the parts for 1000$ if you lived locally. Cha-ching

ball joints and tie rods are a diy, just get the wheel bearing pressed and do everything else.

wow finally got it done and it was a nitemare.... haha i bought a 12 ton press and tried it myself and got the drivers side perfect... bent the hub on passenger side, went to lexus bought another one $211.00 put the wheel bearing in (went with timken) and i did not press it all the way took it to the shop to get new tires and alignment.. they told me the wheel bearing was loose and could not get it aligned perfectly to do it... i was pissed so i just payed for the labor, and was done with it... 400 for labor the bought the wheel bearing and the rest was labor
