Default Crazy new wheels... got a few questions

So I've been on here a while rocking the "sport" gs look, but kinda secretly admiring all the bada$$ vip rides we've got in the 2gs community.

A really crazy deal on some sick 19's just came up and I'm tempted to jump on them and change up the whole ride accordingly for '10. Thing is, the wheels are 5x112. I read up on those variation "wobble" bolts to fit 5x112 on a 5x114 hub and vice versa so that's one option. I might just get them filled and redrilled to 114.3 anyway and then have them refinished to mint condition while I'm at it.

1st Qustion
Has anybody else tried either redrilling the PCD bolt holes or used the variation bolts, if so, how much was it and what was your experience? I know a few members on here tried it and saw their threads, but they didn't say much after an initial thumbs up.

2nd Question
If the bore on the wheels is weird like 66.0 or something, do i need to get any special 66.0 -> Lexus OEM (60.1) hubcentric rings or will regular hub rings do the job?

just redrill them to 5x114.3. and for the hub you can use a ring.

my old set...the fronts were re-drilled...and I had vibration. Used a hubcentric rings and still shook. I finally bought some PCD wobble lugs...and that really help eliminate the shakes.

You can buy my wheels. I'm in Mooresville. I have a set of 19x8.5" in the front and 20x10" rear. They came off my last Mustang, so they're 5x114.5

Sorry, I only have a good picture of the wheels next to my truck

Bumpin this thread back up because I'm moving forward with these 5x112 wheels. I'm going to spend the extra cash to have the bolt pattern redrilled to 5x114 instead of using variation bolts I think.

So now I gotta work on fitment, wheels are 19x9 +38 all around. What size tires would you guys run, and what size spacer should I put in the back?

Thanks

You need to determine if you want stretched or regular or fat tire setup. And as far as spacers go, you need to figure out if you want to be flush or tucking tire. Fender work maybe a possibility.

Ya man, I feel ya. I'd like as much rubber on the road as possible. I won't be tucking tire at all, I'm only dropped a little over 2" with espelir springs. I'd really like to avoid fender work...

Can I get a 245/35/19 in the front without rubbing?
And a 275/30/19 in the back with maybe a 10 or 15 mm spacer?
