i have a '99 silver GS300 w/ Nav. system.
and am among the many spoiled brats that have posted here. hi. i'm new.
when i first got my car, i got a lot of dirty looks from old people. i shrugged it off and smiled and waved to them. that only made them madder. <shrug> what'd i do?!

This is really a pi**er!! Here I am one of the few on this forum that fits the expected Lexus age and title mold, and I'm feeling like Methuselah.
Guess those of my peers that buy Lexi aren't into the handling/performance side of this car. Their loss.
The GS4 is my first 4-door in years. I've generally preferred smaller cars -- a couple of MGBs, Toyota Supra Turbo, 300ZX Turbo -- I decided it was time to go to an automatic with a few more luxury amenities. But, as much as I love my stock 400, it's just too floaty and rolls too much on the turns.
My 430, due in June is getting the L-Tuned treatment.

RealMarty, it's not how old you are, but how old you act. It is great that there is such a diverse group of people on this board. It is true that many of the people that Lexus intends to buy some of their vehicle do not look at them in a performance manner. Also, those type of people don't look for message boards about their cars, so we probably won't see any of them here. I guess the Lexus quality cannot inspire passion in everyone. Don't feel alone in your age though, my mom is about your age and drives a LS 400. They may not be on the board, but they are out there. One thing I do like though, on this board, is the lack of snobbery usually associated with luxury car owners. That's enough of my 2 cents!!

i agree with lexRX 1000000% because even though i'm only 14 all of you guys treat me like i'm 21 with a lexus, but really its my moms car and i'm just madly in love with that car! thanx for understanding that just cause i'm a kid i shouldn't neccessarrly be treated like one!

Worked the corporate industry for many years and also worked for the Goverment back in '89-'92 for the EPA.
