Default Custom Front and Rear Door Panel Pic Request

Hey, I'm just looking for anyone that has pics from their 2GS customized door panels. I'm changing my setup to accommodate a 3pc component set from Rainbow Audio (SLC 365). I've customized a few before but I'm just looking for any new ideas. Thanks in advance. I haven't figured out where I'm going to relocated my other component sets yet.

If you need door panels to hack up I have a FULL set for sale. Just PM me and we can work it out and I can fill you in on the details.

I have probably the most picky ears for music and didnt need to hack my doors. Rainbos are kick as$, but a 2-way component system could easily suffice with a meticulously tuned parametric

best thing to do though (me being a long time installer) when you remove your factory housing in the door, you can make custom panel w/ enclosure to fit in the same location with both 4" and 6.5" in there. With that you odnt have to do any hacking, now if you're running a kit with a 8", you're gonna have to make a kick

loud, probably, but the staging is horrible! The rear set of 6's are right at the seat and are useless... With proper staging and components, this is not needed...

Did the 2 way component's already using the factory enclosures and 6.5" Kappa Perfects upfront and a combination of Pioneer TS-C160R woofers connected to a polk x'over with polk tweeters on the rear doors (its what I had laying around)

Thanks for the pics, my setup won't be as uh... intense.

p.s. used the search function, i was hoping someone had something new. I'll post some pics of past projects on 2GS's later this week.

To be honest, when I switched to my Focal component set up, I didnt really like them. I'm pretty sure I just got the wrong ones for their setup cause they sounded great in my other car. They dont pick up vocals very well. I pulled them out and put the stocks back in with a real amp and pure power (none of that cheap caca stuff) I'm giving my stocks all 100rms (up front) and 80 in the rear! YES on stocks. properly crossed over, those factory enclosures give out some awesome midbass and great vocals... I'm amazed what those paper speakers give However again in Focals defense, I'm confident enough to say that its because I wasnt able to stage them right. There wasnt much room back there to point them to my face, so all the sound just went to my center console...

Hmmm I just got a nice thought that I may try out. Make a kick style panel and hang it from the center console where it snaps in to the dash... If built right and layered in leather, is can look real nice and stock and staging would be easy do to endless room to angle them

yea seat and passenger would stop it... but in defense to creator, its a great idea for one who goes to car shows and such who has everything open to play music
